Wikipedia defines "three-peat" as a term used primarily in sports to refer to winning three consecutive championships. Here we are, getting ready for the NCAA basketball championship and three-peat is a term you sometimes hear floating around during March Madness. Today, I wanted to apply the term three-peat to kitchen design and renovation and our decision to install an in IKEA Kitchen three years in a row for our own home renovation. I also want to share some of my other favorite IKEA kitchen designs.
Also, appropriate to mention during the month of March and April, is IKEA's annual kitchen sale. While the kitchen sale hasn't been the same three years in a row, you can bet it's a fantastic deal. From now until April 8th, 2018 when your purchase an IKEA kitchen over $2000, you'll get 15% back on an IKEA gift card along with free delivery.

Other IKEA Kitchens for the Win:
Beth from 1111 Light Lane went for the two-peat as she opted for an IKEA kitchen in both her current and previous kitchen. If her most recent kitchen, does not look like IKEA, it's most likely because her cabinet doors are not. Her IKEA kitchen includes the IKEA cabinet boxes, but she used Semihandmade to custom build door and drawer fronts for her IKEA kitchen. Click on the pictures below to head to 1111 Light Lane or travel on over to Semihandmade's site where your jaw may drop when you see all of their #yupitsIKEA kitchen cabinet magic!

In Beth's previous kitchen, it looks like she opted for the IKEA Bodbyn cabinet door and drawer fronts in white.

One of my favorite blogs, Chris Loves Julia, presents a fabulous IKEA Kitchen. Chris and Julia opted for IKEA's dark cabinets fronts, the Laxarby in their IKEA kitchen.

Apartment Therapy recently featured this Brooklyn Brownstone which featured IKEA's Bodbyn line in grey.
While IKEA kitchens are not the only cabinets we install, they are definitely some of our favorite. Would you like help with a kitchen renovation? Need some ideas on kitchen cabinets or kitchen design planning? Whether you are buying a house that needs kitchen renovation work, selling a house that needs kitchen renovation work, or living in a house that needs kitchen renovation work, please give us a call!!
