We have installed five barn doors (soon to be six) over our three renovations. Always on a budget, I have searched for a heavy duty pull at a reasonable price. Our first barn door install, on property renovation #1, I was a rookie on the interior barn door pull search. I found some options at Home Depot, but they mostly appeared for true exterior barn doors- not the look I was going for! Then I began searching online... Artisan Hardware, Rustica, and Wild West Hardware and I quickly found that I could spend a bunch of moolah on a simple interior barn door pull! Then I went to Hobby Lobby, and have headed back to Hobby Lobby for every barn door pull.
The Hobby Lobby barn door pull good news:
If you are looking for a darker, oil rubbed bronze or black, pull finish, you'll have many options
Ridiculously reasonable prices
The Hobby Lobby barn door pull bad news:
It requires an in store visit, as I find it hard to search the pulls on the Hobby Lobby website
There are only a few (to no) selections for those with silver hardware colors like brushed nickel, polished nickel or stainless
You will most likely have to provide your own screws.......we've been using drywall screws and the color matches up pretty well for the darker finish pulls
Here are my favorite Hobby Lobby and competitor barn door hardware pulls along with corresponding prices (all Hobby Lobby prices assume you use the Hobby Lobby 40% coupon, accessible every week online):
