I'm getting ready to paint our newly constructed barn door for the kitchen pantry. I've got Sherwin Williams Urbane Bronze in the garage and have already painted Lauren's barn door with it. Now, I debate the color of the kitchen barn door......SW Urbane Bronze, white, navy or a gray? I also think about the two other doors in our kitchen, currently white. With four kids running around the house, the darker color doors certainly appeal to me because of the ability to conceal the dirt and grime that accumulates around the door handle.
When you paint doors a dark color do you paint the trim around the door, or leave it white? I'm taking a look at pictures around the web to get some ideas and inspiration.
